Sustainable India 2023 Report Launch

Kubernein Initiative, in partnership with REVOLVE

Welcome to the digital launch of our Sustainable India report!

Covering the 5 themes of sustainability, we highlight the people and projects making things happen for ecosystem restoration, sustainability mobility, circular economy, water resources and the energy transition. Consisting of 150 pages of exclusive content ranging from interviews, maps, facts, features and photo essay, we invite you to dive into India today. In strategic partnership with Kubernein Initiative, this special country report by REVOLVE is very timely with India’s 2023 Presidency of the G20 and India’s Lifestyle for Environment (LIFE) agenda to adopt climate justice in order to protect the poor and vulnerable from adverse impacts of climate change and to shift towards more sustainable lifestyles for all. As of August 2022, India updated its Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) to include a reduction in emissions intensity of GDP by 45% by 2030 from 2005 levels, and achieve about 50% cumulative electric power installed capacity from non-fossil fuel-based energy resources by 2030. Discover what 12 cities in India are doing too in cooperation with the National Institute of Urban Affairs (NIUA).
