In a short time, the Kubernein Initiative has carved a niche as a space for quality policy analysis on issues at the intersection of gender, development, and non-traditional approaches to security. In our partnership projects with this young and dynamic team, we collaboratively explored invigorating contexts for engaging with innovative perspectives on the issues at stake.

It was a great pleasure and learning experience for us to work with Kubernein Initiative on how to conceptualize building a climate for peace in South Asia. The Kubernein team convened a great group of experts from the region, brought its political expertise to bear, proved a great organizer, and was an immensely supportive team to work with.

The Kubernein Initiative is steering the discourse on non-traditional security matters including gender, water security, and climate change that pose serious threats across the globe and brings them to the forefront of policy decision-making.

Kubernein Initiative brought an innovative thought process and approach to the project from the stages of conceptualisation to execution. Thus, reaching a variety of objectives in an integrated fashion was a welcome consequence as was the seamless cohesion and constructive interface between our teams. It was an excellent coming together of like-minded people.
