Ambika Vishwanath speaks on the podcast Geopolitics & Ecology of Himalayan Water

Ms. Ambika Vishwanath is the Co-Founder and Director of the Kubernein Initiative, a geopolitical advisory firm. Ambika is a geopolitical analyst and water security specialist with close to 20 years of experience in the field of governance and foreign policy. She has led Track 2 diplomacy efforts and consulted with several governments and international organizations in the Middle East, Europe, and South Asia, and helped shape their policies in the field of conflict resolution, water diplomacy and security. At Kubernein, she leads their flagship program on Gender and Indian Foreign Policy and projects on water, climate and security.

Ambika joins us today to share her perspectives and research on the complexities and layered dynamics that shape the hydro-politics and governance in South Asia against the background of an evolving geopolitical landscape and climate change concerns while also addressing the need to cultivate a holistic and inclusive approach that guides the management and governance of transboundary waters in the Himalayas.
